Long Distance Walkie Talkie

Long Range Walkie Talkies

Reliable Communications Like Never Before

Imagine walkie talkies with 10,000-mile coverage, keeping you connected wherever you go. The walkie talkies that can do this are known by many names; LTE walkie talkies, POC walkie talkies, long range walkie talkies, cellular radio, POC (Push-to-Talk Over Cellular) radio, and long range two way radios are some of the popular names.

The Nextcom network provides unlimited access to 400 global cellular carriers in over 185 countries. There are no additional charges to operate throughout the world and no added fees for data usage.

Cellular networks are the most reliable wide area communication devices in the world. The carriers continue to expand their coverage and deliver 99% reliability. With radios operating on cellular networks, long-distance walkie talkie communication becomes effortless and extremely reliable.

Nextcom portable walkie talkies feature external antennas, offering superior range and consistent sound quality, even in the most challenging locations. A Nextcom mobile radio mounted in a vehicle comes with an external antenna. We can expand this coverage using an antenna mounted on the roof of the vehicle is very difficult coverage areas.

Cost-Effective and Scalable Solutions

Businesses are moving beyond traditional UHF or VHF radio towers to embrace cellular radios. Operating costs for conventional radio systems can be significantly higher than cellular solutions. For instance, a Texas school bus operator with 50 radios was quoted $500,000 to build a private radio network. By choosing Nextcom, they avoided the expense and gained superior coverage at a fraction of the cost.

Nextcom provides walkie talkies at no upfront cost with a comprehensive five-year warranty for larger systems. Any malfunctioning radio is replaced at no charge, offering a predictable, fixed cost over 60 months. Unlike traditional systems, license fees, property rental fees, or ongoing network maintenance costs are removed. Additional services like GPS tracking and message playback are included at no extra charge.

Advanced Features and Remote Management

Nextcom walkie talkies offer cutting-edge features not available with conventional LMR VHF/UHF radio network. Some of these services are available with DMR networks, but they are very expensive to integrate into the system:

GPS Tracking: Monitor real-time locations for enhanced operational oversight.
Call Recording & Playback: Record and review communications for accidents, training, or legal purposes.
Private & Group Calling: Customize channels and communication groups on the fly.
Remote Management: Remotely activate, deactivate, or "kill" radios for lost or stolen devices.
Scalability: Add new users and groups without complicated programming or downtime

Monitoring: The dispatch software allows operators to monitor vehicle locations, track communications, and manage operations with ease.

Scanning: Listen to multiple channels at one time

PTCRB Certification

Nextcom is committed to delivering excellence in every product we offer. That’s why our POC walkie talkies—M50, GP700, T60, and T65—are proudly PTCRB-certified. This globally recognized certification ensures that our devices meet the highest standards of performance and reliability in wireless communication.

For businesses, this means you can trust our POC radios to perform seamlessly, even in demanding environments. Whether it’s coordinating a construction site or supporting critical healthcare operations, our PTCRB-certified devices empower teams by providing them with dependable, real-time communication.

Without PTCRB certification, devices may experience unreliable performance, reduced coverage, or even be blocked from cellular networks entirely. Unauthorized equipment can cause network interference, leading carriers to restrict or deactivate these devices. With PTCRB-certified devices, you’re equipping your business to deliver first-class communication experiences when they matter most.

Lawrence County Illinois
Sheriff Trenton Masterson

“I have been in Law Enforcement for over 27 years, started out in dispatch using many different radios over the years, now I am the Sheriff in my area. We had a need for a major upgrade in communication across the county. I reached out to Nextcom and asked many questions about the product and the technology behind it. The customer service is second to none, the knowledge and expertise is also second to none. I ordered the radios and had them at my department within a couple days. Once I received them I had them activated and was using them within the hour. We have been using the radios along with the dispatch software and both are absolutely spectacular. This product has made communication much better and in turn has made the police officers and deputies safer as they do this job. I can’t say enough good things about the radios and this company. This is a must have product for not only law enforcement but for any type of work where good reliable communication is a must.”

Don Davis Snow Ploughing
"AWESOME RADIOS!"

"I own a snowplow business where I have multiple plow trucks as well as shovel crews out in separate vehicles and communication with all has always been a challenge while plowing myself. I ordered a few of these radios to try out and let me tell you the past few storms they have been a game changer. Being able to be in constant communication with my team with reliable service and not having to make a million phone calls has been great. These radios come in crystal clear and work everywhere even when my employees are many miles and cities away. I have a business partner that is usually 220 miles away and we talk over the radio and the reception is so clear it's like he's in the other room. I will be ordering more soon to outfit the rest of my team with these. Wish I found them sooner! On a side note - the customer service provided by Nextcom thus far has been absolutely supreme. I received the radios on a Saturday from Amazon and he had me all up and running quickly as we had a storm that Sunday and were able to use them. He has answered any questions and even given his direct contact info if I was to have any concerns/issues no matter what time it is. Absolutely amazing product and support!!"

These just WORK!

I’m a supervisor for a medium-sized Armed security company out of California. Previously we used the Motorola WAVE service with Moto TLK radios. Lately, they have gotten so bad that about 40% of the radio traffic would not go thru or we would just get chirps. Now these radios are supposed to be our Lifeline if we get into anything sketchy. With the work that we do we REQUIRE reliable communications. We do Arrests, Alarm Response, Evictions, you name it.

Because Motorola WAVE is TRASH we were looking for something better. Looking at the listing at Amazon I was hesitant at first because it wasn't a name I recognized but I was willing to try anything at this point.

I reached out to NEXTCOM by email first asking some questions before I bought and let me tell you....
EVERYONE that I've been in contact with has been AMAZING! Customer support of the bat was Top Tier. Everyone there has responded to my emails very quickly and has been helpful. Shout out to Merle, Karen, Jerry, and Jason. They are all amazing and even helped me activate these after business hours.

Now let's get down to what everyone wants to know.
The Radios and Service:

These are CELLULAR-based Radios meaning here in the US they run off AT&T. If there's cell phone coverage these will just work. If you are in the middle of nowhere lost in a cave with no service these will NOT work.

The reliability of service has been GREAT compared to Motorola WAVE. I can say about 99% of radio traffic comes thru (we have 13 radios with VERY HEAVY use about 200~ transmissions an hour) I can say for us that we can DEFINITELY use these for Mission Critical Communications. These radios come with Belt clip Hand strap Desktop Charger USB - C charging cable. They can be charged with either the Desktop Charger or USB C which is VERY helpful since it is the new standard and Micro USB tend to break a LOT. These have Bluetooth and WiFi meaning you can connect any wireless headphones and use them for this radio (AirPods do not work) You can also connect to WiFi for in-building service if 4G does not reach. The radio has a 3.5MM audio jack to use for a Wired Headset as well, either the Covert Mic or any wired headphone with an inline mic. They also have an optional Bluetooth shoulder mic and a speaker mic. The battery life is excellent, we do 10-hour shifts and the batteries still have 2/4 bars at the end of the day. The radios are nice and loud, each radio can have its own assigned name, and you can have multiple channels/groups. The radio also has an instant replay button if you didn't quite hear the last transmission. Press the button and it will play the last 5 transmissions. Honestly, these are great and just work! plus here's the real kicker, they cut our monthly bill in half but they WORK BETTER!
